We’re moving quickly to implement this wilderness vision and need to rally strong support from citizens and local governments – especially in Summit, Eagle, Garfield, and Pitkin counties. Public support emboldens politicians. The more our elected representatives hear from us, the more of the Hidden Gems proposal they’ll be apt to embrace. While it takes an act of Congress to designate wilderness, the initiative begins at home and can only be achieved with your help.

They especially need to hear how much you value Wilderness and that you support our campaign for more.
